Technical crew form the working backbone of every production day, translating creative intent into precise, repeatable images and sound that can be assembled into a finished work. In Canada, the depth of the technical crew pool reflects the country's sustained history of home and global production — skilled camera ops, sound recordists, and gaffer teams who have worked across every type of content and every type of location the country has to offer. Our technical crew network spans Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, and beyond, covering both major production hubs and regional centres.

Directors of Photography lead the visual department, making exposure, lens, and framing decisions that define the project's aesthetic. Camera Ops and Focus Pullers — First ACs — execute those decisions on the floor, keeping sharp, precisely framed images across every take. Sound Mixers and Boom Ops work together to capture clean, consistent dialogue and atmosphere in every settings, while Sound Recordists manage the full audio chain from microphone to recording media. Gaffers and Lighting Technicians rig and operate the lighting plan under the DP's direction. Drone Ops capture licensed aerial coverage for any production needing it. DIT and Data Technician roles protect and manage all acquired footage from the moment it leaves the camera, ensuring continuity of the digital asset chain through to post-prod handoff.
