SCENE 01 / CAMERA EQUIPMENT RENTAL
Camera Equipment Rental
Professional cinema cameras, lenses, and support equipment for film and TV production in Canada.
Here is how this works in practice. Camera gear rental gives shoots with access to high-end cinema cameras, lenses, and accessories without the capital investment of ownership. Rental houses keep and service pro gear, making sure shoots receive calibrated, reliable gear ready for demanding shooting schedules.
Here is the short of it. We help camera gear rentals from vetted local suppliers, negotiating competitive rates and managing delivery logistics. Our team sets up prep days, cross-rentals, and gear returns so your camera department can focus fully on the creative work at hand.

Cinema camera packages prepped through William F. White, Sim Digital, Panavision, ARRI Rental, and Keslow across the Canadian rental network
Here is how the work lines up. Camera gear rental in Canada routes through a well-defined roster of national and regional houses — William F. White Global as the IATSE-signing flagship spanning Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Calgary, Halifax, and Winnipeg. Sim Digital (Toronto and Vancouver) as the Marvel, Star Trek, and Suicide Squad anchor with integrated DIT pipelines. Panavision Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal for Panaflex, Primo, DXL2, and Atlas Orion anamorphic stock. ARRI Rental Vancouver and Toronto for Alexa 35, Alexa Mini LF, Signature Primes, and Trinity Steadicam. Keslow Camera Toronto and Vancouver as the cinema lens pro. DAZMO Camera Montreal and MELS Equipment for the francophone Quebec spread. And Aves Camera covering Toronto and Calgary commercial work.
Here is how the picture comes together. Across that network our team builds the bodies, lenses, support, and accessory stack a production actually shoots. ARRI Alexa 35 (the newest-generation body open across Canadian inventories since Q4 2022), Alexa Mini LF, Sony Venice 2 (Star Trek Discovery and The Last of Us preference), RED V-Raptor 8K and Komodo X, Blackmagic URSA Cine 12K, Canon C500 Mk II broadcast bodies, and the FX9 and FX6 commercial roster. Blended Vancouver and Toronto stock often holds 30 to 50 units of the headline cameras. This keeps multi-unit shoots and same-day swaps on schedule.
Here is what we have to work with. Global shoots land cargo at YYZ Toronto Pearson, YVR Vancouver, or YUL Montreal, with CBSA ATA Carnet records processed through the same coordinator who books the rental. William F. White trucks handle the inter-city moves. Vancouver to Toronto runs five days, Vancouver to Calgary twelve hours, Toronto to Montreal five to six hours, Toronto to Halifax twenty-three hours — and northern positions in Iqaluit, Whitehorse, or Yellowknife air-freight via Canadian North, Air North, and First Air.
Here is the layout. Each package is prepped at the starting cage with sensor cleaning, lens calibration, firmware logged, batteries conditioned (with a 30 to 40 percent derate factored in for any Quebec, Yukon, or Nunavut winter unit at minus twenty degrees Celsius), and media formatted to the DIT's workflow at Sim Digital or the equivalent Vancouver and Toronto dailies labs. ARRI Cold Pack accessories, Aquatech cold-rated housings, and power packs block-heaters are staged for sub-zero schedules, and emergency cross-rental between White, Sim, Panavision, ARRI Rental, and Keslow runs through the same coordinator when a body or lens needs replacement mid-shoot.
