Here is how the work lines up. Color finishing is the stage where the raw photographic record of a shoot is transformed into the precise visual statement the director and DP intended. Productions originating in Canada — shot under the flat grey skies of a Toronto winter, the golden afternoon light over Calgary, or the blue-tinted forests of British Columbia — each bring their own native colour profile that needs expert handling. Our colorists work in calibrated, reference-grade suites to ensure every decision made in the grade translates accurately to every display settings the content will reach.

Color Correction addresses the technical foundation first — normalising exposure, balancing shots, and managing any inconsistencies introduced by changing light conditions on set or across shoot days. Color Grading then builds the creative look on top of that corrected base, setting the mood, contrast, and colour signature that defines the film's look. Look Development allows directors and DPs to road-test grade concepts before principal photography begins, saving time in the finishing suite and ensuring the on-set decisions align with the intended final look. Online Conform and QC completes the workflow, checking every frame against broadcast or delivery specs before delivery.
